In 2023, due to a lack of affordable fairy homes, Neilsworld was commissioned and built a range of new Fairy Homes. Due to the secretive nature of fairies, we can not share the inside pictures and layouts, however, we did get special permission to share with you what the front doors look like…….just in case you stumble upon them. All the houses have names and have been allocated to very special fairies

About Woodland Fairies.............🧚

The earliest record of a fairy was from the 13th century, the Woodland ground fairies do not have wings, but can move very quickly often faster than the human eye can follow.

They are very secretive and notoriously shy, with a tendency to hide away from humans and animals. They are very territorial and often live in woods near water.

Fairies are good-natured, but also renowned for being a little mischievous so watch your feet when out walking in woods and forests - fairies do find it funny if you have a little trip. 

So, where are you likely to see them? Well, it is believed they live in older trees and sometimes you can find their front door. But unless you have the magic key the door will be fixed shut. Look out for wild fruits, nuts and seeds close to the older trees which the fairies collect and leave in small piles.
